We at Solo Bar have been fostering this spirit of a neighborhood parliament, arts dive bar, networking, and the celebration of cultural and political activism for a decade now.
As is such, our house is your house to turn ideas into meaningful action and make your voice be heard.
That is why we will open our doors to "10 events/100 days," a nationwide project that focuses on ten different steps to implement real change in the first 100 days of the current presidency.
Join us on Tuesday, January 24th for step number one and fill out and send a card to your person in Congress expressing your concerns about one issue that matters most to you. Cards are on us. Good time, hanging out with friends and like minded folk, and postage are on you.
Event begins at 6PM.
Cards will also be available at Saint John's Bar & Eatery on Capitol Hill.
